    I worked at Duro-Last Roofing full-time (more than an year)


    Working with a QUALIFIED estimator was great!


    Duro-Last is the same thing as high school, "who knows who" and who can break the rules and who will get fired with ease... Duro-Last is a great company to work for, great benefits and Top Dog upper management is real cool and professional... the dept heads and dept managers are the problems.... Dept Heads does not listen to ideas or improvements to the company, they select their favs and dis the unfavored ones, hold you accountable for every mistake or infraction but not have time or make an effort to congratulate you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Dept Heads and Dept Managers..... grow up and quit being selfish, self centered, and think you run the company.... you have made short term achievements but long term, no one wants to be there.... I know I didn't from my 2nd day there... employees there gave me rich advice on who to talk to about what and who to avoid, the longer I was there, the more I realized why I was informed of who, what, and when to talk to management.... Lots of management was 'buddy buddy', broke rules, and tried to cover it up to avoid being noticed in a negative way by Management...
