I have been working at ELS Language Centers

It's always an interesting challenge working in a global company. There are many diverse languages, cultures, and the opportunities (should you be in the right circles) are very unique in international education.

The methods used to regulate consistency for this global company are very outdated and often ineffective. Management has a tendency to stick to traditional "we have always done it this way" culture, which can be frustrating to get things accomplished. If you are not a "favorite" in the executive circle, good luck. It's very much an old boys club. If you don't match the conservative mold, it will be very difficult to make progress in your career.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow more opportunity for teacher, staff, and employee feedback. There are severe levels of mistrust and discontent throughout the entire company.
