Friendly, casual workplace with good company culture fueled by great employees. National Security Solutions (NSS) division works on important, challenging, and interesting solutions for its customers. Motivated employees can rapidly grow into project leadership to creatively contribute to/steer program development.
Lack of technical mentorship; specialized work teams do not facilitate apprenticeship and skill development. Corporate leadership transitions and instability over past 24 months have not clarified company's future direction. Minimal investment in Internal Research & Development challenges new business growth and competitiveness; new ideas need immediate customer.
Advice to Management
Upper management needs to define, communicate and adhere to a realistic company identity, mission statement, and vision. Corporate leadership must embrace and support positive changes proposed by upper management.
