I worked at EZPAWN full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

The basic job is extremely interesting and keeps you current in technology. You also learn a lot about so many different things: hunting, fishing, tools, mechanics, lawn care, electronics, etc.

    Cons

The company expects a lot from the store level while at the same time cutting back hours and not providing any positive reinforcement. Management within the store ends up pulling 60 -70 hour work weeks to do all the extra things they want implemented. At the same time they cut full time employees hours to save costs. The job can be dangerous, and sometimes security issues aren't addressed within a timely manner.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be aware of what's actually going on at your stores. Make an appearance and see what's actually going on at the store level. Accomodate your store managers if they haven't been able to take any of their vacation time, make it happen.
