I worked at Eastman Kodak full-time (More than 10 years)

The salaries/compensation at Kodak (now Kodak Alaris) for Senior Engineers was excellent compared to other Employers in Rochester. The variety of products - although now dwindling - offered choices for different work. Nice sense of community in the good people there. Excellent work/life balance that allowed for family commitments as long as the work is done. Little micromanagement.

Too many "managers" and costly unproductive meetings for them to discuss "process". The continued gloom of potential layoffs (and the previous bankruptcy) really clouded up the environment there, causing morale to drop. Some professionals there are just hanging on until retirement, however there are many that truly believe in the company.

    Advice to Management

Explore more Agile *Management* techniques to reduce non-productive meetings. Keep morale up by using rewards and "group time".
