I have been working at Edifecs full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Free, healthy snacks, free onsite parking, food trucks, onsite gym/fitness and newly renovated building. Pay is decent. MOST associates are friendly. Orange juice machine is not THAT cool.

    Cons

Many challenges! Most people leave companies because of management, and not the job/company itself. I've considered quitting several times, due to the company. Communication is TERRIBLE, amongst every department and there are many rogue cowboys. There is little trust in anyone, and I constantly feel as if I'm going to be fired, at any moments notice. There are so many hoops to jump through for every process, but it's the upper management who usually doesn't follow process, but expects everyone else to... doesn't matter your opinion.

I was told when I interviewed here (from the CEO), that I would be challenged and will work so much harder than at any other company. That has yet to be true. The promises that were made to me when I was hired, have yet to happen as well (projects, new tasks). I took this job as a next step, but I feel as if I've stepped back in my career. I've not learned anything that I didn't already know at my previous company.

Our culture manifesto is a complete joke-- We have our values on our wall, but rarely do I see associates actually following them nor displaying them daily. It's like someone is driving the train, but everyone is on their own path, with little trust for anyone.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop hiring so many VP's, SVP's, Directors and upper management and focus more on hiring a quality workforce (aka, worker bees), to get the job done. Take a look at the health and happiness of your current employees (most of who are VERY unhappy) and determine what can we do to take this company to the next level.

    Doesn't Recommend
