Edward Jones hires quality people. The benefits are good including health, dental, vision, 401K, trimester and annual profit sharing, concert and sporting event perks. They make the mission statement very clear and often ask for feedback from the associates and do make improvements from the feedback.
Be prepared to work VERY hard with frequent and thorough evaluations of your work habits. The pay for administrative assistants can be on the lower side. The work done in my area was also done in another department where they were paid two grades higher. Major changes in department restricting can be made with little or no input from the people working in them.
Advice to Management
Keep things fair. Sometimes expectations on people are not equal or fair. After making changes in an area, leave them alone for more than 6 months. It can be frustrating and exhausting constantly changing the work environment.
