Former Employee - Resident Assistant-CNA  in  Emerson, NJ
Former Employee - Resident Assistant-CNA in Emerson, NJ

I worked at Emeritus Senior Living full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Most resident assistants are appreciated by the families of the residents in the facility.

    Cons

The turnover rate is probably the only continuity seen within this facility. Within three years there have been five EDs. Everyone is overworked and they are severely understaffed which results in unhappiness throughout the facility. Many residents are brought in to the facility requiring much more care than the facility is equipped to handle. They expect the resident assistants to do nursing home care getting paid a highly unfair rate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees with more respect and you'll see an outstanding difference.
