I have been working at Emeritus Senior Living (more than an year)

You do get a paycheck. However, there is always looming uncertainty, perpetuated by management, that it may be your last one.

This company is all about the warm body theory. They put people in positions where they have no business being. Management is borderline abusive in their management style. They spout that they care about their employees and really listen to them. They, in fact, do not. They continually want more, more, more... no matter how well you're doing. The family values they so openly subscribe to... a complete joke. That's all for show, and the investors. The company has lost sight of its mission, if it ever had one. It is no longer about the resident, even though that's how it's spun. Thu buildings are run down.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stand back and take an OBJECTIVE look at how your buildings are being run. Take a good, hard look at what is REALLY going on them. Give a little bit to fix the problems that are there. Stop worrying about all of your metrics and take care of people as they should be.
