    I worked at Endurance Specialty full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Quality training, access to senior management, open door to share thoughts and feeling about what's working & what is not.

    Cons

    Everything changed under John Charman's leadership (the third CEO). People are afraid to speak up in fear that they will lose their jobs. He is an authocratic leader and truly does not care about the people. Also, he brought in plenty of leadership from Axis Capital when he bought the company and terminated to many quality Endurance leaders, which sent a very bad message to staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Opportunities for advancement are too political. Bring back the training teh company use to offer.
