Former Employee - Recruiter/Genius Finder in Southfield, MI

I worked at Epitec full-time for more than a year

Up to date technology (but why wouldn't there be for a small corporate office staff)
Free coffee, tea, water (but this can be found at most companies)
Free food (nothing healthy or promoting employee health/wellness)

Epitec has to be the most unprofessional company out there. It is ran by an executive management team that has 0 experience with any other company, and with no concept of how a real business operates. I would love to see how they each would do in another setting outside of Epitec. How can an executive management team be compromised of a couple friends with no outsider insight? You will not find anyone hired into management that has experience prior to Epitec. And if they do, they end up leaving just the same as recruiters. The "successful" managers are born and bred from within and mock the unethical actions of the executive management team. From swearing, gossiping, and reaping all of the benefits and high wages while the rest make little to nothing. Each and every single employee is a chess piece and moved as they see fit. People are thrown into positions without consent that they do not even have the proper education/training for. Everything is masked by "fake" happiness to lure you in and keep you working until the spell finally wears off. There will be a fake, nice, response to this review by stating there is a "MUSCLE" acronym that is used in the hiring process. The hiring process is honestly a huge joke and so is the elementary school "MUSCLE concept". It will also be stated to voice your concerns with the COO. However, if you were ever to voice your concern on the job, you would immediately be let go. Oh and the best response has to be the promotion of Epitec being "A best and brightest company to work for". Little does everyone know that award is something that Epitec pays for. Real companies are too busy practicing ethically instead of tying to find every award they can think of to mask their unethical practices. The turnover rate of recruiters, HR and even experienced managers is disturbing. People leave by the hour and it is all for all the same reasons. Please do not waste your time, education and credentials even applying to this place. I feel for all of the people still there, drinking the koolaid until it wears off. Same goes to contractors- find another agency to assist you with your career!
