    Pros

Education is second to none. Great facilities; possibly the best in the industry. If you make it to full time the compensation can be well worth it; you will love your job, and be in great shape.

    Cons

IF you make it to full time. One out of four people hired (onboarding) stay longer than a year. It is very difficult to sustain a minimum of 20 sessions a week. Even if you make it to full time, in order to get your bonuses you must sustain the 20 session minimum. They give you leads, but not enough to depend on, you have to work the floor and prospect to get your clients. Very difficult to sustain a living on floor shifts ($10hr). You must meet your minimums to make a decent living.

    Advice to Management

Members notice the trainer high turnover rate; this makes it harder for members to invest in new trainers for obvious reasons. My advice (an idea): Offer advances or loans that the trainers have to pay back through training. if they quit before the loan is paid, they are aware that its money that has to be paid back. Low interest rates on the loans. Put trainers in the best position possible to be successful. In the first three months, if a trainer shows promise, give them incentives toward the loan. Maybe the company pays it down X amount of dollars. A common complaint for most trainers is that it is really hard to live on 4-5 floor shifts/ each floor shift 4hr $10-15 dollars an hour. Its just really hard. Almost impossible! Final thoughts: hire good trainers, and give them an incentive to stay for longer than a year-End result, client retention, satisfied members, increased PT sales.
