Good company if you just want a job, not a career.

Good benefits, 4 Fridays off each summer, stable work environment, friendly people, flexible hours (to a degree). Some people are very happy working here. It is a great place to be if you are content with just having a job that stays the same for years.

No career growth opportunities or support for learning new skills. Stagnant management. Little creativity. The focus has shifted away from making the customer successful to just making money. The management doesn't seem to be aware of the downward spiral in morale. The general consensus seems to be that the "Canada's Best Managed Companies" award was simply purchased, as it doesn't reflect many of the employees experiences.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Show more appreciation for the impressive people you have working for you. Don't let what used to be a great culture disappear completely.
