I have been working at EventPro Strategies part-time

    Pros

    Short or temp work available.

    Cons

I have nothing positive to say about my experience with the company. The staff was extremely friendly when they wanted to hire me; however, things quickly changed after I worked the 1st event. FIRST, employees are not paid for 6 weeks company policy (no matter which event you work). I was told I would be paid in 30 days. I called after 35 days to check on the status of my paycheck and I was treated like dirt on the phone. I was told "We don't know when your check will come but we can continue to keep playing this game where I tell you I don't know when you will get paid and you will have to wait on it either way"......????. Really? RUDE and Unprofessional. I did not deserve to be treated like that.
NEXT, I had to be at the event at 7am. I arrived 15 min early and was told to sit in my car until 9 am because the team leader (not a real team leader, BTW , just someone the company found on a job site and decided they would be more superior than the other employees). The team leader never showed (shocking...) so I had to pay for parking myself AND sit in my car until 9 am without being paid. Huge red flag, Especially, when I called the main office the day before to find out if parking was free or not and I was told it was free. I should have left right then. DO NOT waste your time with staff members who treat you like dirt. It was not worth the money they owe me. I may or may not ever get paid, but it wasn't worth it even if I got paid the next day.
