I have been working at Express Scripts full-time (More than 8 years)
Health benefits are still OK, although they used to be better. There is opportunity to move up the ladder; but I urge you to think twice before doing so. The tallest blade of grass is always the first to get cut.
Way too much emphasis is put on numbers and 6-S. Management creates a stressful work environment, then scolds employees for having "bad attitudes". Your worth is directly related to your metrics. The company considers themselves totally successful as long as the bottom line looks good no matter what it takes to get there. Employee satisfaction is never a consideration; employees are pawns. Results of internal surveys are always negative but nothing is ever done about it. There are no benefits associated with tenure. Time off for holidays is decided by a lottery drawing. Who does that??
Advice to Management
Management needs to realize that there is no need for 6-S in a pharmacy setting. All it does is irritate people and compound the low morale. They also need to listen to their employees when they are given feedback. If employees are complaining then... THERE IS A REASON!
