    I have been working at Extendicare Health Services full-time (More than 10 years)


    There are none that I can think of other than the other poor souls that have had the mis fortune of ever working here.


    Way too many to fit in this confined little space, but, let's name a few. Greedy upper management pitiful to non-existent raises/increases in pay - three of last 6 years - no raise, the other three years 1/2 to 1 1/2 % increase Painfully large increases in insurance premiums - generally 10 - 20 times what the pay increase was - 12% in 2012 (no raises), 26% in 2013 (1 1;/2 % raise), 56% in 2014 - no raises - announced they are sold and only 150 of 600 jobs will exist under the new management team - and you have to "Re-Apply" for your job - guaranteed to be massive cuts in pay and benefits to go along with this having to re-apply

    Advice to Management

    Give a crap about your staff, wait, too late for that! Your taking your big fat payouts and closing the doors for most of the employees! Guess spending over 10 years with the company and taking pitiful increases over the last few years while you gouge us on health insurance (12% more in 2012, 26% more in 2013, 56% more in 2014) is my own fault. Silly me thinking that we were doing things to make our resident's lives better and not just to line the executives and share holders pockets
