I worked at FICO as a contractor (less than an year)Pros
Friendly co-workers and free snacks/drinks, close to highway 101Cons
STRESSFUL. Last minute decisions. High office politics. Either you agree with management or you are replaced with another who will work for cheaper pay with less work. They hired someone specifically to replace another just because they didn't like him, not because of the work that he did.
That being said, there's low ambition to strive to do better. Also what company updates their site during the day? This caused huge issues with customers. Their reasoning to this rather than fixing it: "it's always been that way"
Also NO sympathy if you're out of the office for a day. Instead, you're watched closer.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Check with your project managers asap. There are three in particular in the engineering department who work together and team up against anyone they don't like.Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo opinion of CEO
