Former Employee - Legal Intern in New York, NY
Former Employee - Legal Intern in New York, NY

I worked at FINRA as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

As a legal intern working at FINRA, you have an opportunity to learn first hand about the regulation of the financial services industry. Atmosphere was very collegial and low-stress, everyone is happy to answer any questions you may have.

    Cons

As an intern, I was able to participate in regular enforcement activities. However, there could have been more effort put into providing education and other perspectives for interns to listen to. After the end of my internship, there was no offer of a permanent job, although people there were very appreciative for the work I had done.
