    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO

I worked at FactSet as an intern (Less than a year)

There were a lot of people there that had worked or turned down offers from Google, Facebook, Square, etc. As smart as they knew they were, they acted humbly and were always receptive to questions. The fact that you are constantly in contact with higher up officials like head of HR, CTO, CFO, and even the CEO (!!!) makes you feel more important than "just an intern"; you really feel a close connection with the company and the work that you are doing. Free lunches are awesome. Even better, they pay (subsidized from your paycheck but for much less than you can find elsewhere) for your housing - and that's really expensive up there! Ability to go to another office and work there for a short bit Substantial projects - I developed a system that is currently being deployed to the entire department. Plenty of other interns made client facing products. You are really valued as an engineer and a person. A lot of cool events were planned for interns as well as new hires, which showed that they weren't solely pandering to us but that it was a cultural mindset to have fun and do things outside of work. Also their yearly revenue has never had a down quarter and they just got their new CFO from Bloomberg, which is huge. I see nothing but success for this company's future.

I'd have to say that the environment is a little bit more corporate than most software companies. You are working in a cube, although there is a shift to making a lot more collaboration areas. Housing they give you is great - unless you're facing the train tracks (which I was unfortunately).

    Advice to Management

Keep it up and never forget the little people because they are the ones that drive the company.
