I have been working at Factory Design Labs full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Cool neighborhood, sexy office, good technology... in a word, 'perks.' While a cool, sporting client roster used to be another pro, that list is going through some shakeup.

    Cons

Form takes precedence over substance. Factory has always been good at pictures, or the visual part of 'design.' Clients today, however, need deeper thinking than what can be provided through (pixel-perfect as they may be) PSDs and it's not really clear that the C-level wants to dig in on this stuff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be present, acknowledge bad news alongside good, and be willing to dig in yourselves.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
