I worked at Farmers Insurance Group as a contractor (Less than a year)

Training and marketing materials. They pay for your cards, brochures and flyers. They give a lot of "marketing" ideas that are corporate standards. You learn about Insurance and Finance.

They advertise paid training/base pay, but that's after you spend 3+ months in the "reserve" program, where you have to sell 40 P & C and 4 Life. Then you get to the "career" level and they offer a base pay or matching pay to you commissions up to a set $.

    Advice to Management

Don't hire agents that need to pay the rent- be honest and say you need a second income for the first 3+ months.
