I have been working at FedEx Ground full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Decent starting pay.A wide variety of benefits offered. College tuition reimbursement makes it an ideal place for college students.

    Cons

Hard work! No breaks, even if its over a four hour shift. Management caught lying to employees very often. They say advancement opportunities, but thats only true if your friends with the right people. Managers are mean and dont care when they're overworking people. Managers dont care about your safety. in fact they get real mad at you when you get hurt. Insist it was your fault even if you were doing everything the right way. Pay raises stop after 4 years. Health insurance isnt worth it considering the size of your paycheck. Shift times change at the last minute, but your still expected to be there. Not a place to have a career, meant for passerbys. They constantly raise goals, but not the pay.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire better managers based on who can perform the job, not who will go drinking with you after work. Treat your employees like human beings. Understand we do dangerous work, dont push us till were broken.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
