I have been working at FedEx Office full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good benefits, paid time off, education reimbursement, etc., Experience in the printing industry gained, computer training

    Cons

Expect to work with the technological ignorance of both the public and some team members. Definitely a job you must enter with some computer literacy. You will be asked to do just about everything in the store including but not limited to running and quality checking full orders on your own. Although you will be trained in the basic of consulting you will not however have any training using the OTP interface unless it's hands on. Expect that management needs you to have just about all areas 80% learned within 6 months.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Separate roles such as shipping from printing. Signs and banners as it's own department. FedEx fails to realize that some people are made for production and some people are made for customer service. Combing roles may save the company on payroll but it decreases team member morale. Seasoned staff will boast about Kinkos and how they used to take care of their own, this is far from what I see and hear about 'FedEx Office'
