I have been working at FedEx Office full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great learning opportunities available. If you are willing, there are resources all around to help you become knowledgeable about the company's policies and proceedures.

    Cons

There is rare opportunity for high advancement. I hate to state that politics are involved, but they do have a strong presence. The company tells you that they promote from within, but this isn't the case when it comes to management. In the past year and a half there have been 4 vacancies for center managers and 1 for an assistant manager. All of those positions were filled by external applicants, and there were plenty of HIGHLY capable internal applicants who could have been successful. As a matter of fact, one of those internals who got denied applied in another state and was awarded the position with no problem. It all boils down to as long as management pass a few scores then they are fine. Even when there are other problems that don't effect those few scores that need to be handled before they grow to greatly effect those scores.
