I have been working at Fedex Express part-time (more than 10 years)

Great benefits, although not as good as they used to be. Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401K, paid vacations and sick days, company-paid pension plan are among the benefits even for part-timers.

Raises for most of the lower-tiered employees have been pretty rotten over the past few years. The health insurance premiums keep going up but the pay doesn't. Job progression can be hindered because even though you may have more job experience in a certain area, someone with more seniority, but no experience at that job, can outbid you for the a position.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start recognizing that ALL your employees, not just the top tiers, need raises to keep up with the cost of living. This year the stockholders got a 30% increase in dividends while most employees got a 2% raise.
