I have been working at Ferrellgas Partners full-time (More than 3 years)
The company offers great benefits - 401k, ESOP, company wide incentive bonuses. Upper management has an open door policy and communication among all levels is very transparent. Feels stable. Feel upper manager exhibits high levels of integrity. Overall morale is pretty positive, people are friendly and helpful. Employees are tenured and growth opportunities are there if you work hard. The company has really high expectations, but if you perform you are rewarded.
Due to the nature of the industry, business does somewhat depend on the weather, but the company is making diversification efforts to help circumvent this.
Advice to Management
Doing great! The only problem is it appears CEO has an unbalanced level of control over other executives. Fortunately, he is fair but if someone else were in that role it could cause problems. Maybe add some more checks and balances among executive team.
