    I have been working at Fidelity Investments full-time (more than a year)


    Compensation and benefits are good when you enter, increasing that remuneration is a different story.
    Feels good when you leave.


    Some middle management simply refuse to help people move forward with their career, both in work experience and career level - mostly because their own careers are at a dead end. A lot of talented people being kept low because of this.
    Seems like a retirement home for anyone working in technology given how laid back it is and if you're anyway talented it's best you look elsewhere so that you don't get left behind in the industry.
    People being promoted due to being incapable of performing their current role.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Upper management need to spend some time talking with lower level employees in order to get a proper view of the landscape.
