    I have been working at First Data full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Work from Home, Build Great Business Relationships by Representing worldwide Best in Class Products. Very loyal and dedicated employees that work very well together and genuinely care about our clients and businesses. Lots of super long term people still here that care deeply for our company and clients. Terrific new vision- have a good new CEO, but he is one man, and it takes thousands of good people to run our businesses.

    Cons

    As technology progresses it's becoming too easy for corporation management teams to think they need to measure everything. Measurement is taking over as the priority. Productivity, generating revenues, building relationships with businesses has by far taken a back seat here in this once wonderful culture.
    Multiple Sales Management and training teams have recently taken on an intense bully style of managing people. This style makes people emotionally, physically sick and ruins productivity. 401k match, pay and benefit losses are enough of a sacrifice.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Don't permit new technologies designed to measure Sales productivity have the keys to your own company. Management should gain higher understanding of how seemingly cool tech measuring applications when forced upon employees can crush and destroy sales revenues. Technology companies are getting rich selling our management team on measuring way too much stuff.

    Have respect for your own people, products and services- don't buy into every trendy new tech measuring tool that ties up productivity of your own talent you spent so much money growing and investing in over the years. Apps will never replace people learning and understanding your business and building profitable business relationships.
    Put an immediate end to bully style management from the very top company wide-it's unbecoming of any company, let alone a world class organization such as First Data Corporation.
