Fellow associates work well together to get the job done. Managers try to keep morale high with positive reinforcement during trying situations.
Managers are being bullied into force ranking associates. Even in high performing groups someone is always placed on the bottom. Managers are being encouraged to let onshore staff go with the promise of replacing them with two offshore employees. During surveys managers have gotten good ratings from their direct staff. However senior leadership has not enjoyed the same ratings. Managers have been told their jobs are on the line if they cannot raise overall ratings for senior leadership. Jeff Yabuki wants to be a most admired leader from staff.
Advice to Management
Stop playing games to rig survey results to stroke your own egos. Do not preach "do the right thing" when you don't live by the same rules.
