I have been working at Flanders full-time (more than a year)

Talented professionals and expert tradespeople work hard to serve customers. Many employees are well-intentioned, down to earth, good people. Some sites offer free health clinics.

Zero leadership from owners who spend more time in onsite Prayer Room than they do managing the business. Zero accountability throughout organization resulting from lots of talk and no action. Owners surround selves with a Prayer Team who advise owners how to run the company, and most lack real business experience. Owners seem more focused on their faith than the business, for example scripture is posted on TVs and company meetings start with a prayer. Yet due to mismanagement the company recently announced cost cutting measures affecting all employees including things like mandatory 5-day furloughs for salaried employees, suspending 401(k) employer match, reclaiming some company issued vehicles and cell phones, canceling non-essential travel and eliminating company holiday parties.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Owners should sell to a company or corporation that will return this company to its former glory and thereby protect the livelihood of 800 employees whose families depend on paychecks.
