CEO posts glowing review on Glassdoor. Mysteriously disappears soon thereafter.

About the only "pro" to working here, is the young and talented work staff who are, for the most part, a pleasure to work with. The company used to do progressive-type things, like outings and extracurricular activities but has now resorted to lame, "Office Olympics" activities which consist of embarrassing games of paperclips and various office supplies. These were fun for some, but I'm inclined to think that they were humiliating for most. There was a long stretch where daily showings of "The Office" were somehow thought to be constructive diversions from the daily routine. Attendance to these showings proved otherwise.

Too many to list. Nothing I say here hasn't already been said elsewhere in the reviews. My main purpose of writing this review is to bring the star-rating back down to where it belongs, after having been artificially boosted by the CEO, who's advice to management was to be "nimble" and who marginalized the "cons" as being a simple result of growing pains. Note that not a single complaint was addressed or an explanation offered for the dismal ratings on Glassdoor. Accept work here only if it is your only option. Save your money, give 'em your two weeks, and then move on to greener pastures.

    Advice to Management

I have recently noticed that the President & CEO has embarrassed himself and the company by posting a five-star review in what seems to be an attempt to artificially boost its reputation on glassdoor. I can't imagine why he would ever bother visiting the site unless he was made aware of its dismal reputation by the HR team or some other means. Is it a coincidence that his is the only 5-star rating so far? Is it disproportionate enough to the other ratings to warrant skepticism? I think it's safe to say that it may be a desperate attempt to bolster Flatirons Solutions poor reputation on Glassdoor. Management, here is my advice: Work harder than you ever have to restructure your management team, which is demonstrably incompetent and perpetually, unaccountable in its abuse of authority and nefarious actions. Communicate your ideas and practice transparency; trust in your employees and romance them. Welcome feedback and stop hiding behind doors. You'll find that your productivity will increase and your turnover will diminish. The high rate of turn-over speaks much louder than your CEO's disingenuous review, which is completely at odds with the rest of the reviews on this site. If you don't practice transparency, employees will continue to be happy exposing you here, at Glassdoor. Get your act together.
