    I worked at Flowserve full-time (more than a year)


    This is hard to find some Pro's about a company that has been doing this for years. They offer insurance, a below average wage, as much hours you can work or want to work and a company shirt.


    They work you with long hours & including weekends. At first it seems good for the money but after a few months and you need some time off. Your denied any PTO or time off for that matter. Your ideas are put on the back burner and Management will bring up ideas in Department meeting and don't give credit to the original person who is educated and thought of improving the current process at company. This hits another nerve, your not given any advancements for your education or experience. When your hired or given an offer they will pay you at the least amount of money regardless of your education or experience. They would rather hire out and have you teach someone else the ropes. Then show some appreciation to current employees who have worked there for many years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    How do you put this to someone who is so dense. Don't tell me you understand my situation and deny me PTO or raises. Out of the millions we move in vales, pumps and parts we see the Quarterly reports for what the company is. IF your going to claim to be the top valve companies in the valley why do you treat your employees like crap? I hear on production floor, "When this was Valtek we had it good.." Please Please stop throwing company jackets at us. Do something that will benefit employees. Improved insurance, advance people who deserve it (not because their your buddy), listen to employees who have great ideas not the current manager who is a buffoon and claims others ideas and has no clue about there job. Oh one thing...
