    Pros

Most of the people I worked with were down-to-earth, as well as nice. The office building is pretty impressive, so it makes going to work a little easier.

    Cons

The day I started working, they did not have me in their system, so I could not log into my computer or do any sort of valuable work. It took an entire week before they finally set me up with my computer and a project to work on. The project took me one day to finish. When I said I was finished, they had no other work for me. So I went to work for another full week and just sat there for eight hours a day patiently waiting. Probably the least challenging job I've ever had, it was pathetic. I quit after the second week. Completely unprepared and unorganized. And because I wasn't in the HR system until the second week of my employment, I didn't get my check for two weeks after I quit. What a joke. Also, the legal team at Follett does more chatting and bullshitting than work. It's literally a group of women gossiping about the most random and annoying topics. They would become so annoying, my co-workers would get up and leave the room because they couldn't sit and listen for another second.

    Advice to Management

As much as people would like to go to work, do nothing, and milk a paycheck, there's a limit. Be prepared and organized when you hire someone. Make sure you actually have work to make the employee be productive for at least half of the day. Also, make sure you have your new employees set up with HR/payroll so they can actually get paid on time.
