    I have been working at ForeSee full-time

    Pros

    Great employees - a group of very smart, genuinely nice people. At the tactical level, there's definitely a sense of collaboration between teams and departments. While I wouldn't call it a lateral workplace, there isn't the sense that those at higher levels set themselves above you. Because the company has been growing and changing at a rapid pace, it's very much a "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" and "figure things out" atmosphere (at least in our department - which is not client services nor sales). For someone who like things to be programmed out this may not be a pro. For someone who wants to make an immediate impact - it's a big plus. Benefits have been okay but are improving for 2015.

    Cons

    Outside of the sales and client services departments, it can feel as if promotions or career growth opportunities are rare. While you may have the power to add new complexities to your role and deliver more value - seeing that translated into promotions or raises is not assured. I don't think this is deliberate. There is a lot of focus on hiring and retaining the two largest groups of employees - Client Services and Sales - as they directly impact revenue and client retention. Other departments fulfill more of a support function and can be overlooked.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    There have been many changes - negative and positive - since the Answers acquisition. Some of the negatives may simply be growing pains and a period of adjustment as we get to know one another's businesses.

    Please keep in mind that all team members impact the success of the organization.
