I have been working at Frac Tech Services full-time for more than a year

    Pros

benefits are good, time off is nice, only good thing is overtime if you can manage to get out and do field work

    Cons

lower pay than competitors, a lot of favoritism in my shop, evals don't get done on time if at all so fairly low chance of getting a raise. your supervisors are allowed to come to work with a bad attitude and take it out on you but when you fire back you get sent home for 7 days for arguing+a write up, parts management is sub par sometimes waiting 2 weeks for parts that should have been in stock in the first place. stealing of tools is a major concern a lot of the guys i work with leave their good tools at home and come to work with harbor freight brand tools so it doesn't hurt their pockets as much. equipment is always filthy because the company wont spend the money to put in a wash bay. its embarrassing to see our equipment on a job site half broken down and leaking. we have 2 people in the shop qualified through frac tech to do mundane repairs on brakes or engines because the company doesn't recognize achievements from outside of the company. if i didn't need the money i would work at wal-mart instead of this place
