I have been working at Franklin Templeton Investments full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent 401k - they match 75 cents to every dollar you contribute. Friendly coworkers. Decent pay. Well respected company in the financial services industry. FT is one of the oldest mutual fund companies around.

    Cons

Pay is a bit on the conservative side. The company is very conservative in general. Not a ton of perks, however, they do have a gym and cafe onsite.

    Advice to Management

Find ways to better utilize the strengths of your employees. Also, most departments seem to be consistently on a tight budget. For a company with nearly 1 trillion dollars in AUM, it seems this could be loosened up a bit. Lastly, be more competitive technologically and demographically. Inability for clients to open new accounts online or view their accounts via a mobile app will likely result in FT being less competitive among the millennial demographic.
