I have been working at Fujitsu America full-time (More than a year)
The work-life balance is the best I've had at a company, but that does not extend to all departments from what I have seen. There is a lot of opportunity to do things in the company that you may not see elsewhere which is attractive to younger professionals. Account management is easy to deal with and listens actively to the feedback received which is visibility you do not always get in a company this size. My experience has also been that as long as you perform your duties to the expectations you have a lot of freedom with your schedule and workloads.
Management approaches every aspect of the business the same without putting adequate research into changes and cuts in the budgets. The biggest issue with the company is there is a silo approach where each team constantly faces confrontation and push-back; there is no team culture across towers or departments and feels like a free-for-all when trying to get large projects and initiatives done. The compensation packages are in line with industry standard but seem to be a bit low in the area which immediately puts the company at a disadvantage.
Advice to Management
If I were in management I would begin to address the culture where smokescreens, roadblocks, and overall malicious behavior displayed to co-workers would carry substantive consequences. Currently, we are losing a lot of talent that is key to the business because they are becoming dissatisfied with the current culture and toleration of this type of behavior.
