I have been working at Futura Mobility full-time (More than 3 years)
convenient location as office is very close to Pennsylvania turnpike, Building is very nice, and futura mobility and futura healthcare are relatively small companies, Executive managers have expensive cars.
Seems like owners want to flip the company and sell it so life here will be short lived. Promised made and not kept. Talk can be cheap. Top manager drove former company InfoLogix into the ground with exorbitant personal expenses and all self-serving decisions made. Decisions not made for the good of the company; decisions made for management personal gain. Camaraderie is lacking - select few women seem to get a lot of attention from male top management. HR enforcement lacking. Invites to sports events and other "benefits" are given to those favored women. Middle management does not partake in any of this. They are victims as well. Just used. Shame for them because select few (not based on qualifications) will move onto the next company when this one is sold. A lot of fake jokes and smiles - no true caring at all. Purely - what can you do for me now - environment. If you can see through all of the games and "beautiful people" driving fancy cars, you'll see that expenses, etc. are all based on whether you are liked and play their game.
Advice to Management
Tell people the truth. Tell them the plan to sell company when numbers are met. Let people know that their jobs are temporary so the can be prepared for your plans. Be fair to people, not just women who are beautiful and your friends. Think about impact of your behavior on the morale of employees. Does wild spending at top levels and then "no, you cannot order office supplies" seem fair.
