Guys working the plant and driving are okay and willing to talk and BS around with
You get to get out and about to deal with customers without having a manager in your face all day, but that doesn't mean they won't call you every 15 mins
Vast majority of complaints are about hours and not getting paid for them
Anyone that openly challenges them on getting paid or reports them for safety gets fired outright
Right now the managers are acting scared because of all the complaints and having the big wigs breathing down their necks because of the idea of the people talking about forming a union. So that's a bad thing.
You are supposed to follow DOT regulations if you drive, but that will never happen with the workload you get handed daily and the hours they expect you to do are insane. But if you don't do the hours they'll fire you.
No one gets paid what they are promised, even when they do a sales contest. They just change the rules to benefit the company and leave the people hanging in the wind.
Right now morale is so low that people in every department are putting applications out and the managers know this and keep trying to pull people aside and convince them to stay and offer them more, but everyone knows they will never do it.
Until they get rid of a couple of managers that think everyone has to bow down to them, don't even bother applying here.
Advice to Management
Local management: Got nothing to say to them. Been lied to too many times and given empty promises
Corporate: Stop buying whatever they tell you and actually talk to the people. They've been covering up the messes too long and caused a bigger one. People are talking about signing cards because of that one guy that got screwed over and fired.
