I worked at GE Energy Management

    Pros

GE Energy invests heavily in training for their employees if they can justify how it will benefit the company. Manager have much discretion to send and pay for employees training. Reasonable work demands and no death marches.

    Cons

Not the most cutting edge company technology wise. If you want to work with the latest and greatest this probably isn't the place for you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Dispense with the up or out employee rating system. Provide a mechanism for employees to work with newer technologies.
