Former Employee - Supply Chain Co-Op in Louisville, KY

I worked at GE as an intern (less than an year)

Good pay. Good milestone for resume- the name alone got me places.

Not a structured co-op program- If you have a good manager, you'll be doing medial work, if you have a bad manager, you will do absolutely nothing. It was very boring and there was not much to do, changes were very slow to implement and the union was a pain to deal with because they backtracked every sign of progress.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Review co-op assignments with individual managers before deciding whether to provide certain managers co-ops or not. Make sure there 3 months worth of work to be done.
