I worked at GIESECKE AND DEVRIENT AMERICA full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Pros are that they do find talented individuals, not sure how but majority of the individuals that I had the pleasure to work with were extremely talented and were able to perform under pressure.

    Cons

For the majority this company has some interesting views of people. If you are different then them you are not welcomed. The main head quarters of this company is in Munich, Germany - the whole culture is set up around that. They do not welcome your ideas and you are to do what you are told. You are a puppet and you do not get to express your opinions or ideas that you might have to contribute.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The manager I had was very inexperienced and was more concerned about what outfit to wear rather then to manage the employees. Visiting HR and addressing this issue did not help - it is who is their Favorite rather than who is right or wrong.
