I worked at GNC part-time (more than an year)

Good position for a student with very Flexible with hours. A good training program for people that have little or no experience with supplemental nutrition. In-store management is very helpful in developing the new employees.

Unrealistic sales goals with severe penalties for not reaching them. There appears to be a disconnect between upper and middle management on the overall mission. Constant company wide competitions with different products can make employees seem insincere when recommending products to customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Develop a solid mission, and then ensure incentives to the middle management follow that mission.
