    I have been working at GROWMARK full-time


    You would be hard pressed to find a company full of better people. Most people seem to care about their jobs and actually work to provide value. The work/life balance is good for most employees, although hours can be long for some with customer facing positions during our busiest times of the year. The benefits are overall pretty good, including a pension which is great if you plan to stay for a long time.


    The compensation is somewhat lacking and the raises are uninspiring. Requires five years to be vested in the pension plan while the 401K matching is not particularly good - very poor match for anybody not planning on finishing their career at GROWMARK. Upward mobility seems to be lacking for anybody interested in anything other than finance. Sorely lacking in IT personnel for a company of it's size and there seems to be a general refusal to ensure key positions have the appropriate depth/backup - the entire enterprise infrastructure is run on the backs of a handful of people with specialized roles who have no backup.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Provide more job mobility and better compensation policies or the company may turn into a revolving door for the younger generation.
