I worked at GameStop part-time (More than a year)

you'll get some fun co-workers, get a decent employee discount, have the ability to rent used games, some of the customers can be fun a joy to help.

Part-time isn't exactly part-time and unless you're management you'll never see more then 8 a week, having to constantly push a card that most people don't care to buy, chances of getting promoted within the company isn't a guarantee

    Advice to Management

Start treating the game advisors with a bit more respect and then they'll like working there for more then a discount and renting games. Treat the customers better and they'll give the stores better reviews
