    I have been working at Gannett full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Gannett DESC is a good place to work, but maybe better suited for the recent college graduate, or someone transitioning into sales. The culture is relaxed and they make it fun with contests, t-shirt Tuesdays, prizes (tickets to games, iPads, TVs, and more) and free breakfast/lunch here and there. They were slow to move on making changes in the past, but with a current restructuring, things seem to be progressing. They are redoing their call goal expectations to help facilitate better conversations with clients, reduce burn out for employees, and avoid beating our book of business up.

    Cons

    The compensation is not enticing for a veteran sales person. They need to look at increasing the base or the commission percentage.

    Advice to Management

    Continue being open to change and listening to employees suggestions. Make yourselves competitive with other sales organizations with increasing compensation.
