    Pros

Genentech maintains a genuine ovation to its people with a commitment to employee total wellbeing and work-life balance. Leadership is stellar.

    Cons

You must "own" your development and movement. Promoting to talent alone is rare. Individuals need to actively seek, make known and network for movement. The internal landscape is highly competitive, especially since the Roche acquisition.

    Advice to Management

The healthcare landscape and delivery of services has undergone a tremendous shift in the last 5-10 years. This requires a tremendous shift in approach to HCP's. Keep your "ears close to the ground" and trust field perspective. Lead first. Manage next.
