    I worked at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    People are friendly. Team is good.
    Work is good if there is alot of contracts.
    Free starbuck machine there.
    Alot of good get-togethers with employees.

    Cons

    No help from management. Our manager was offsite all the time.
    Solve your own problems.
    No formal training if you want to progress.
    Work delayed due to govt cuts.
    People use PTO to cover delayed work hrs.
    If you change too much exempt time (no work) you get laid off even of you are needed in your dept.
    Treat older workers with no respect.
    No to small raises (,25 cents was the max)
    Unless you work on the BIG BUCK PROGRAM, you are worthless in their eyes.
    Cutting benefits every year- you pay more.
    Performance review twice a year that has no benefit to employess.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Listen to your people.
    Be more open and quit treating us like children.
    Get some contracts.
    Stay with what you know. Changing the demographics of your company causes instability with your worksers.
