    Former Employee - Maintenance Supervisor

I worked at Georgia-Pacific Corporation full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good benefits, training is good and pay was decent. Paper side of the company is great. Lots of experience and very knowledgeable in the field. really enjoyed working at the paper mill.

    Cons

Lack of experience from management all the way to hourly when working for the lumber mill. Would not recommend anyone to work for GP on that side of the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to the front line supervision and hourly. Don't just sweep issues under the rug. When someone brings up an issue with harassment address it don't let the manager run wild.
