    Gebrek aan visie (te veel Microsoft-georiënteerd, niet toekomstgericht). Het gebrek aan zelfvertrouwen stuurt de Microsoft-visie dieper in het bedrijf, wat leidt tot meer massa-diensten. Geen technische strategie, uitgeholde marketing. Slechte HR-praktijken. De salarissen zijn echt te laag, die zullen niet de besten aantrekken.

    Advice to Management

    Verbeter het HRM (kijk niet naar KPN). Richt je meer op feiten, gebruik statistieken om je bedrijf te besturen. Wees je ervan bewust in welke richting de markt beweegt. Stop met schizofreen gedrag. Ofwel je kiest ervoor in in alle opdrachten de mindere te zijn en geeft lage salarissen aan iedereen (inclusief het management), ofwel je maakt je droom waar om een dienstverlener te zijn die waarde toevoegt, je stopt niet met consulteren, en je geeft een goed salaris aan goede mensen, call-centers en on-site support. Met andere woorden: beslis en handel. Talmen zal niet helpen.

    Improve HRM (don't learn from KPN) Get more facts oriented, use metrics to drive your business Be aware of where the market is going Leave the schizofrenic behaviour. Either choose to be sub in all engagements, give low salaries to everybody (including Mgmt) or live up to the dream of being a value add services supplier, don't give up consulting, give good salaries to good people and outsource call-centers and on-site support ... in other words, decide and act...lingering there won't help
